I don't know why but the songs makes me want to cry every time I listen to it. The song brings back the memory of my childhood to me. The distant memory which now I barely remember but will be lost forever someday. It doesn't sound very uplifting or encouraging but still it seems to have some soothing power and provide us with some comfort. The music video below is simply awesome. I strongly recommend you watch it.

このPatrick Watsonというアーティスト，Wikipediaによると，カナダのケベック州Montreal出身で，クラシック音楽の影響を受けているらしい。この曲を最初に聞いた時，サティのジムノペディ組曲（Erik Satie - Gymnopédie No.1）やラヴェルの亡き王女のためのパヴァーヌ（Maurice Ravel - Pavane pour une infante défunte）を思い出したのですが，ひょっとするとそれがなにか関係しているのかもしれません。（とはいうものの，音楽には全く詳しくない私の言うことなので，全く関係してないかもしれませんが。）
