The Middle ゼッド・マレン・モリス・アンド・グレイ (Zedd, Maren Morris & Grey)

Maren Morrisという名前にピンと来ました。約1年前にここで彼女のChurchを取り上げていたからですが，このChurchのなかで主人公は，「合わせてずっと歌っている
(singing every single verse)」ことが自分にとっておそらく教会だと言って，カントー・シンガーを牧師に，そしてカントリーの曲を彼らの説教にたとえています。
The name Maren Morris rang a bell.  I picked up her Church here about a year ago.  In the song the narrator compares country singers to pastors and country songs to their sermons, saying "singing every single verse" is probably her church.

（余談）

聞くところによると，Maren Morrisに決まるまで，ZeddとGrey（KyleとMichael Trewarthaという兄弟のデュオだそうです）は，15人ほどのAクラスのシンガーと会ったものの，なかなか決め手がなく，彼女に会ってようやく「この人だ」と思えたそうですが，他にどんなシンガーが候補に挙がっていたのか，個人的に非常に気になります。
