この曲はBad Liarと同様に，Imagine DragonsのDan Reynoldsが自身の離婚にヒントを得て作った曲なんだとか。

離婚をテーマにした曲といえば個人的にこういう曲を連想しますが，Imagine Dragonsのこの曲の場合はブリッジのもたらすイメージがとにかく美しく切ないため，離婚につきものの修羅場感があまり感じられません。

そのため，多くの人がこれを「大切な人との別れ（死別）」の曲と感じるようで，感動的なミュージック・ヴィデオと相まって涙腺方面に警報が出そうになります。
