Sword from the Stone パッセンジャー (Passenger)

別にネイティヴではありませんが「ほらな俺も頑張ったけど，アーサー王とは違うから岩から剣は抜けないよ」下りに関して言えば，それまで他の誰も引き抜けなかった名剣エクスカリバーを少年のアーサーだけが埋まっている岩から引き抜けたというアーサー王伝説に因んだものだと確信しています。だとすると主人公は相手に自分が相応しくないと感じているのでしょう。
I'm no native English speaker but I'm pretty sure that the line, "And I’ve tried and I can’t pull the sword from the stone" refers to the Legend of King Arthur in which nobody else but a boy Arthur could pull a magic sword named Excalibur from a giant rock in which it's fixed.  So it means that the narrator feels themselves not good enough to be the significant other to the second person.

（余談）

COVID 19の影響を最も受けている職業のひとつがミュージシャンや演劇関係者などのいわゆるパフォーマーと呼ばれる人々でしょう。あくまでも個人的な見解ですが，この曲はそういった業界に身を置く人々に向けた曲でもあるように思われます。
