地元のことをよく考えますか？私自身も時々頭に浮かびますが，それは今現在の地元の町ではなく記憶にある町のことであり，かつてあったものの多くがもう今はなくなっています。
Do you think of your home town a lot? I do sometimes but not of the town as it is today rather of that in my memory. Many things which used to be there are gone now.

（余談）
記憶にある「地元の町」は今現在のそれとはまったく違っているので，私がこの主人公ならさっさと土地を売って別のところへ引っ越してしまっていると思われます。
