思うに人間の最大の敵は自分自身言い換えれば己のバイアスでしょう。たとえ頭でそんなことはないとわかっていても，人間はなにもかもが調和する世界というものがあるに違いないとある程度思っているので，常に不満を感じてしまいます。
I think our worst enemy is ourselves or our biases.  We more or less believe that there must be a perfect world where everything works in harmony even if we know there's not.  So we get frustrated all the time.

（余談）

「こうでなければならない」という思い込みは私を含め誰にもあると思われますが，一般的にはそれがプラスに働けば「信念 (faith)」マイナスに働けば「バイアス」と呼ばれているような気がします。
