To Build A Home ザ・シネマティック・オーケストラ (The Cinematic Orchestra)

ここでいう「家」は実際の家という建物や建築物ではなくメタファーです。おそらくここではこれといった理由もないまま終わってしまった過去の恋愛関係だと思われますが，他のどんな人間関係にも当てはまります。
Here a "house" doesn't mean a building or a structure where we live in.  It's a metaphor.  Probably it's a metaphor for a romantic relationship which died without any specific cause.  It's could be a metaphor for any relationship.

その家は石で出来ていたけど
木でできた床とか壁とか窓枠だとか
テーブルだとか椅子とかはどれも埃が積もってた
ここでなら寂しくないし
ここならほっとできるんだ

そこから世界が見たかったから
急に風が吹いてきて，それで吹き飛ばされたから
その人がしがみついてたように，木にしっかりしがみついたよ

（余談）

この「家」のメタファーは人間関係だけに限ったものでもありません。自分の築いてきた「キャリア」かもしれませんし，また自分の作った作品なのかもしれません。「自分の人生」のメタファーと考えることさえできそうです。
