Move Together ジェイムズ・ベイ (James Bay)

ギターの弾き語りという演奏スタイルがJake BuggやEd Sheeranを連想させます。よく見るサイトで彼のことを知ったのですが，彼の声に意表を突かれました。ヴィデオの再生ボタンを押した時には，まさかこんな声が聞えてくるとは思っていなかったからです。
この曲に関してはJames Bay本人が「（EPアルバムに入っている）曲は実際に起こったそのままの話。絶望した時期や光が見えた時期のことを，この１２箇月で書いたもの」と語っているようです。
それはともかく彼，あのJohnny Deppに似てませんか？
A guy who sings, strumming a guitar.  The style of music he plays reminds me of Jake Bugg and Ed Sheeran.  I didn't know him before I read about him on one of my favorite websites and his voice took me by surprise.  The voice I heard was complete different from what I had expected before I hit the play button on the video.
As for this song, he says, "These songs are personal and honest stories written over the past 12 months about darker times, as well as hopeful ones."
By the way, doesn't he look like Johnny Depp?

どうでもいいことですが，James Bay, James Arthur, James Bond, James Blunt, James May, James Morrison...男性の名前はJamesでなければならぬという掟でもあるのかと思うほど，イギリス人は「James率」が高い。また，これが海を渡ってアメリカに行くとそうでもないのが不思議です。

ところで，このJames Bay，Ed SheeranやJake Buggと同じくイギリス人で，リード文でも書いたように演奏スタイルが似ているのですが，この3人のメンバーのなかで，色んな意味でEd Sheeranだけが「抜けて」いると思えて仕方ありません。
