あまりの激務とストレスに耐えかねたある救急専門のナースが，そこを辞めて普通の平穏な職場に転職したものの，次第にそのストレスの無さが物足りなくなり，同時に緊急事態に対応する際に出ていたドーパミンの感覚が恋しくなり，結局別の救急専門の職場に戻ってしまったという話をどこかで聞いたことがありますが，この主人公もそうなのかもしれません。
