Blue Velvet トニー・ベネット (Tonny Bennet)

1986年に公開されたアメリカ映画「ブルー・ベルベット（Blue Velvet）」とこの曲のタイトルが同じだったため取り上げてみました。映画の主な出演者は，カイル・マクラクラン，イザベラ・ロッセリーニ，デニス・ホッパー，ローラ・ダーンです。
An American film of the same title Blue Velvet released in 1986 led me pick up this song.  The film stars Kyle MacLachlan, Isabella Rossellini, Dennis Hopper, and Laura Dern.

（余談）

50年代当時はどうだったのかは不明ですが現在の感覚からするとヴェルヴェットは普段着に使う生地だとは思われないのでおそらく主人公がこの相手に会ったのはパーティか何かだったのではないでしょうか？
