A program I watched the other day referred to this song. It reminds me of Escape by Rupert Holmes. While the narrator doesn't go anywhere in that song, despite suggesting the second person run away with him, he actually flies to somewhere in South America, probably in Mexico given a line like, "And if it weren't for tequila and pretty señoritas."

* roll a big fat one・・・直訳すると「ぶっといヤツを巻く」ですが，一体何を「巻く」のでしょうか？別にブリトーでも太巻きでもいいのですが，ヴァケーションという設定なので「葉巻（あるいはマリファナ）」ということにしておきました。
** clay・・・直訳すると「粘土」ですが，主人公の住んでいるのがGA（ジョージア州）であることを考え合わせると，有名なジョージア州の赤土だと思われます。
*** PBR・・・Pabst Blue Ribbonという安価なビールのようです。
（余談）
これを「カモられた」と見るか「プレイ」と見るかで曲の印象は大きく変わってくると思いますが・・・個人的には前者です。
