いわゆるクリスマス前のこの時期になると，その時の雰囲気を味わうためにここでクリスマス・ソングをいくつか取り上げます。無論いつかはネタが尽きるのですが，そうなるまでにはしばらく時間がかかりそうです。
Every holiday season, I pick up few Christmas songs here to enjoy the festive atmosphere of this time.  I know I will run out of songs to pick someday but I don't think it's very soon.

*　この曲は元々は1951年にMeredith Willsonが作ったものですが，ここでいうsilver lanes aglowのsilver lanesは，その前の箇所で言及されているthe five and ten（安物雑貨店）の通路ではないかと言われています。

（余談）

私の中ではMichael Bubleはすでに「色物」枠なので，彼が歌っているとクリスマス純度100%のこんな曲であっても，脳裏にチラつくのは純白の粉雪ではなくむしろ雪国なのがなかなかに恨めしいところです。まあ確かに「雪」つながりと言えなくもありませんが・・・。
