The Chain フリートウッド・マック／ケララ・ダスト (Fleetwood Mac / Kerala Dust)

タイトルを「The Chain（単数）」ではなく「The Chains（複数）」と見間違えていたので，この曲はなんらかの悪循環について歌ったものだと思っていましたが，一般には主人公と相手との間の繋がりや信頼を表すメタファーであるようです。
I read the title 'The Chains' not 'The Chain' and thought this song is about a vicious cycle.  People say it's a metaphor for the bond and trust between the narrator and the second person.

Wikipediaによると，70年代に発表されたこの曲は2022年に「ハンドメイズ・テイル／侍女の物語（The Handmaid’s Tale）」というHuluのオリジナルドラマのシーズン５にKerala Dustのカヴァーで登場したことで再び注目を集めているほか，以前にも「Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2」や「I, Tonya」といった映画にも使われているようです。
