ヴィデオの中で嬉しそうに叫んでる女の子達を見ていると，こちらも嬉しくなってきます。彼女達にとって，おそらくOne Directionは神にも等しい存在なんでしょう。 One Directionの話をして，彼らの曲を聴き，そして彼らの夢を見る。こういう子達を見ると思い出す友達がいます。何年も前のことですが，かのBackstreet Boysの大ファンで，一生彼らについていくと断言してました。
それはともかく，誰かに夢中になる（大抵はアイドルですが）というのは，10代前半の子にのみ許された特権だと思います。10代の頃には，そんなことには興味がなく，そういう経験がなかったのですが，今は自分があのなかの一人だったらと思います。さぞかし楽しいでしょうね。
Watching girls screaming happily in the video makes me happy, too.  For these girls, One Direction probably rivals God.  They speak the band, listen to the song and dream of these boys.  These girls remind me of one of my friends who was a huge fan of Backstreet Boys years ago.  She swore she would be loyal to them forever.
Well, having a crush on someone (mostly on pop idols) is, I believe, one of the prerogatives of teenagers.   Not having been interested in pop idols nor enjoyed the prerogative at all in my teens, now I wish I were one of them.  I'm sure it would be fun.
