キリスト教の世界では，人間は死ねば「審判の日」を経て天国か地獄あるいは，洗礼を受けていないとおそらく辺獄に行くのだと思っていましたが，この曲を聞くと，どうやら来世なるものが存在するようです。仮にそうだとすると，一体どういう人がそこに送られるのでしょうか？
I thought that in the Christian world, people go to heaven or to hell after facing the Judgement Day or probably to limbo if they're not christened when they die.  This song, however, implies there's such a thing like another world exists.  If it's true, who are supposed to be sent there?

（補足）

* heaven or high water・・・おそらく「come hell or high water」を踏まえた表現だと思われ，その意味が「どんなに困難でもやり遂げるつもりである」であるため，ここではそれに従い「お前にはまた会える，なんとしても会ってみせるよ」と和訳しています。

（余談）

個人的には（来世で）生まれ変わったとしても，当人が変わらない限り，おそらく結果にさほど違いはないように思われますが，とはいうものの，必ずしもお互い「人間」に生まれ変わるとは限らないので，仮にどちらかが相手のペットの猫や犬などに生まれ変わった場合には，確かに上手く行くのかもしれません。

・・・が，生まれ変わるのが哺乳類であるとも限らないので，一方が相手の家に住むゴキブリに生まれ変わってしまった場合には，今以上に悲惨な関係になるような気がします。
