2017年10月2日Tom Pettyが心臓発作のため66歳で亡くなりましたが，私がそれを知ったのは，Songfact.comのDaily Top Songs（今日の曲トップ10）が彼の曲で埋まっていたからでした。彼の曲はここで取り上げたFree FallingとI Won't Back Downくらいしか知りませんが，物語性のある曲を書く人だったと思います。
On October 2, 2017 Tom Petty passed away from cardiac arrest at age of 66.  I learned it from the Daily Top Songs list occupied with his songs on Songfact.com.  I don't know much about his music and the only songs I picked up here was Free Falling and I Won't Back Down but I can see his craft in storytelling.
