第二連で主人公が「Fast forward to eighteen」と述べているため，最初は現時点で主人公と相手は18歳なのだと思っていたのですが，それでは辻褄が合わないことに気が付きました。この曲で主人公は2002年に自分たちは11歳だったと歌っているからです。2002年に11歳だったなら，今は25か26歳になっていなければなりません。それで第二連にある「eighteen」という単語が18歳ではなく，2018年を表していることに気付きました。
In verse 2, the narrator states "Fast forward to eighteen".  So at first I thought the narrator and the second person are 18 years old now.  That didn't add up.  In this song the narrator's singing about 2002 when they're only 11.  If they're 11 in 2002, they should be 25 or 26 now.  A word 'eighteen' should refer to 2018 or twenty-eighteen NOT eighteen years old then.

（余談）

ブリちゃんの「…Baby One More Time」のミュージック・ヴィデオを見た時には，そのあまりの可愛さに衝撃を受け，あれ以来シャツにカーディガンという姿を見ただけで，下がヘソ出しでミニスカートなのではないかと思ってしまいます。
