Some say this song is about LGBT+Q community but I'm not sure about it. Words like spectrum and colors are often associated with a rainbow representing it but they're not always so.

見当外れであろうことは重々承知していますが，個人的にはこの曲は人の一生を歌った曲のような気がしています。
自分が何者であるかわからず「温もりもなく冷え切って，向こうが透けて見えるほど，肌に色もついていなくて，軽くって，紙切れみたいにペラペラだった」だった思春期を経て，成人して「みんなで迎えに行く時は，青いオシャレな服を着てくよ，腕の中に海を抱えて，目と掌にキスしてあげる」となり，中年になって「グレイの服をちゃんと着る（＝冒険しなくなる）
舌の上に金属乗せて（＝思ったことを言わなくなる）肺には銀を吸い込んで（＝経済的に豊かになる）」となって最終的に「黒い服を着て」この世を去るという流れです。
「名前を呼ぶ」はすなわち個として認められるということなのかもしれません。
