Maybe ザ・シャンテルズ (The Chantels)

最初は主人公が別れた相手とよりを戻そうとしている曲だと思いましたが，「泣きながら神様にお祈りしたの，大切なあの人を送り返して欲しいって (I've cried and prayed to the Lord, To send you back my love)」という下りから考えるに，相手は主人公を残して亡くなった可能性もあります。
At first I thought the narrator was trying to take their significant other back after their breakup.  Considering a line like "I've cried and prayed to the Lord, To send you back my love" the second person might has passed away leaving the narrator alone.

多分毎晩お祈りしたら

（余談）

一般的には「Probably > Maybe > Might be」と言われているようですが，この曲に登場するMaybeに限って言えばそれほど蓋然性が高いようには思われません。むしろ心の中では無理だとわかっているにもかかわらず，敢えて「Maybe」と言うことで，主人公は無理やり別れの辛さを忘れようとしているようにも思えます。
