Violet Hill コールドプレイ (Coldplay)

この曲のタイトルを見てFats DominoのBlueberry Hill を思い出すかもしれませんがColdplayのChris Martinによると，この曲はThe Beatlesを意識したものであり，Violet Hillはあの伝説的なバンドとともに語られることの多いAbby Roadの近くの道だそうです。
The title of the song may remind you of Blueberry Hill by Fats Domino.  Chris Martin of Coldplay said it's a nod to The Beatles and Violet Hill is a street near Abby Road which is often associated with the legendary band.

聞くところによるとこの曲はColdplay初のプロテスト・ソングなのだとか。最初に耳にした時妙にあのOasisっぽさを感じたのですがそれは私だけでしょうか？
