「姿見て繋がってなきゃダメなんだ（I need a virtual connection）」と言う主人公は，相手の姿を見ることが最も大切だと考えているようですが，あるひとりの人間の得る情報の約80％は視覚情報だと言われていることを考えればそれが間違っているとも言い切れません。
The narrator seems to think the visual connection is the most important, saying "I need a virtual connection".  Considering a human gets about 80 percent of information from their vision, you cannot say they're wrong.

（余談）

個人的にはいわゆる「ハグ」のような身体的触れ合いの方が圧倒的に孤独を癒してくれるように思いますが，この主人公にしても「抱きしめて慰めて貰えたら，足跡ひとつ残さずにすぐにそこから姿を消すよ（Hold me, console me and then I'll leave without a trace）」と言っていることを考えれば，最終的に同じように考えているのではないでしょうか？
