流されずこのままでいたいと仮に主人公が望んだとしてもそれは不可能です。万物は流転してきますし最後に行きつく先は常に同じです。
Even if the narrator wants not to be carried away and stay as they are,  it's not possible.  Nothing stays the same and our final destination is always the same.

（余談）

身も蓋もない言い方ですが，仮に天使がいて見守っていてくれているとしても，世界の総人口を考えれば天使一人当たりの負担の大きさは想像に難くありません。この程度の悩みの主人公をずっと見守ってくれる可能性は極めて低いと思われます。
