Way of The World チープ・トリック (Cheap Trick)

先月このミュージッック・ヴィデオを見た時には度肝を抜かれました。そんなにいい曲だったのか？確かにいい曲でしたがそれが理由ではありません。ドラムスが演奏中にタバコを吸っていたからです。当時はこれが本当に許されていたのでしょうか？
I was stunned when I saw the music video below last month.   Was the music good?  Yes, it was but its not what blew my mind.  The drummer is SMOKING while he plays the drums.  Was it really OK back then?

（余談）

今回改めて以前取り上げた彼らのDream Policeのヴィデオを見直してみたところ，このドラムス確かにタバコを吸って演奏しています。

おそらく彼のタバコはあくまでも「小道具」の扱いなのでしょうが，ライヴでも吸っていたと考えると，その間に40年の隔たりがあるとはいえ，現在の状況との違いに驚かされます。
