（余談）

社会というものは大多数が「決まりに従う」という前提で成り立っており，それがいわば「潮流」のように流れています。したがって「潮目」に乗っていればさほど苦労せずに済みますが，敢えてそこから逸脱しようとすれば「潮目」に逆らうがごとくに相当のエネルギーを要求されます。

年を取ってくると保守的になってしまう理由はひょっとするとそのあたりにあるのかもしれません。
