自虐の師匠ことJames Bluntのミュージック・ヴィデオにはひねりの利いたものが少なくありませんがこれもそのひとつで，無邪気なヒッチハイカーが邪悪な男に拐われるというホラーな内容になっています。
Many music videos of James Blunt have a twist and this one is one of them.  It depicts a horror story in which an innocent hitchhiker is kidnapped by an evil man.

（余談）

この「怪しい誘拐犯」にBlunt師匠が呆れるほどぴったりなうえに，被害者の男性が妙にぽっちゃりしているところも重なってタイトルの「Tastes」の下りが余計に禍々しく思えてきます。

師匠によるとこの曲は「夏の楽しさを誰かを好きになった時の幸せに結びつけた（binds the joy of summer to the joy of being attracted to someone.）」そうですが

・・・ウソですね。
